Located right next to Cava dell'Isola Beach in Forio on Ischia's west coast, this charming three bedroom apartment offers the chance to breathe the fresh sea air while enjoying the island's warm Mediterranean climate from the large sun terrace.
A winding lane leads down to a small number of beachfront houses and upon entry through the front door the eye is drawn to the blue horizon of the sea which can be glimpsed beyond the front terrace. The open-plan lounge has a great feeling of space while the large kitchen with its sea views is the perfect place from which to create meals which can be enjoyed on the stunning terrace which is the real focal point of this house.
Measuring around 100m², the terrace looks directly down onto Cava dell'Isola Beach and the sound of the waves gently arriving at the shore provides the perfect soundtrack to a relaxing beach holiday. The beach itself can be reached in 5 minutes via a private pathway, halfway along which can be found the excellent La Capanna restaurant.
Completing the living space inside the apartment are the three bedrooms, the first of which comes with a double bed and is located at the front of the house giving it a sea view and the chance to drift asleep while listening to the waves. The second bedroom comes with a double sofa bed and its own en-suite bathroom while a third bedroom also comes with a fold out sofa bed. There are two further sleeping spaces available via the final sofa-bed in the lounge which is also flanked by the second bathroom with a shower, WC and bidet.
A short walk from the apartment leads down to another one of Forio's major beaches, Citara Beach which is also the home to the famous Poseidon Thermal Gardens and a number of beach bars, restaurants and gift shops. Forio town centre is around 15 minutes on foot in the other direction along one of the most popular areas on the island for joggers and evening strolls to catch a glimpse of the magnificent sunsets that can be enjoyed on this side of the island.
