Set in one of the most historic corners of Ischia, this spacious two bedroom apartment is filled with character and offers its guests a unique opportunity to enjoy Ischia in style. From the outside terrace with its ceramic floor and canopy which can be kept open or closed, a family or group of friends can relax together while enjoying the spectacular view of the magnificent Castello Aragonese in Ischia Ponte. The apartment lies on the same street where scenes from the epic Cleopatra with Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor were filmed in 1962 and more recently the Talented Mr Ripley starring Jude Law, Matt Damon and Gwyneth Paltrow. Just a few hundred yards away the castle can be accessed by a stone bridge while a second entrance to the home leads out on to the main shopping area of Ischia Ponte with a good selection of restaurants, cafes and bars to choose from.
Stepping up the small flight of steps into the apartment itself takes you past the large, brightly coloured terrace and as soon as you walk through the front door the full expanse of the kitchen-dining area can be felt. The high level of equipment in the kitchen such as the stylish cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils provides inspiration to try some of those wonderful Italian recipes which can then be enjoyed either at the main indoor dining table or outside on the veranda. The two main bedrooms, one of which is on a separate floor up a few steps and each has its own style as well as double beds and plenty of wardrobe space. There is also one more single bed in an enclosed area of the lounge and in total there are three bathrooms in the apartment, one of which has a shower cubicle. There is free WiFi internet throughout the home as well as free parking available just outside the front door.
