Hotel Punto Azzurro is located in one of the most remote areas on the island, between Panza and Forio. The closest sea port is Forio and from there it's best to take a taxi, at least the first time that you make your way there as it can be a little complicated. If driving, head west along the main road from Ischia Porto, driving past Casamicciola, Lacco Ameno and Forio. Once you pass Forio town centre you will head inland towards Panza. Look out for Ravino Gardens on your left and soon after passing it you will be in the Citara Bay area. The road takes you above the beach, passing the Sorriso Thermae Resort on your right before the road takes a couple of sharp turns up a hill. Continue up the hill until you see a turning on the right with signs for La Pagliarella restaurant. Take this turning but be careful as the road is extremely narrow, meaning you will have to stop to make way for cars coming in the other direction. After a while you will pass La Pagliarella on your left and reach the top of a hill with Bar Faro on your right. Turn left here, down the hill and then take the next right where you will shortly see the car park for Punto Azzurro.
