Il Bosco Incantato (The enchanted forest) – Christmas light installation with animal sounds. Suitable for adults and children alike and free entry. Takes place on Via Edgardo Cortese in Ischia Porto. From Piazza degli Eroi walk down the road to the left of Bar Calise or from Corso Vittoria Colonna walk up from the main square with Caffe Vittoria on the corner. |

Ischia on Ice – Ice-Skating in Ischia Temporarily erected skating rink on Piazzetta San Girolamo in Ischia Porto. €7 gives an adult half an hour on the ice including skate hire. From Piazza degli Eroi walk down the road to the left of Bar Calise or from the port walk up Via Roma which eventually turns into Corso Vittoria Colonna and the Piazzetta is at the top. |

Christmas Market in Ischia Porto - Market stalls featuring everything from local foods and delicacies to original arts and crafts. Various stalls around Piazzetta San Girolamo at the top of Corso Vittoria Colonna. This is in the same area as the skating rink in the main shopping area on the island. Just a 5 - 10 minute walk from the port and the Riva Destra area. |

Ischia Nativity Scenes (Presepe) - These hand-crafted nativity scenes are the product of hundreds of years of tradition in Ischia and can be seen in all shapes and sizes. They are typically to be found in Churches but also in people's homes, particularly in Ischia Ponte, as some of the islanders open their doors for the Christmas period to share their handy-work with visitors. |
