LA FESTA DI SAN MICHELE ARCANGELO 2015

​The “Festa di San Michele Arcangelo”, patron saint of Sant’Angelo, is under way with the 2 most important days of events today the 29th September and tomorrow the 30th September 2015.

Tuesday 29th September

18:00 Holy mass at the church of San Michele in Sant’Angelo

18:30 Procession through Sant’Angelo

22:00 Live concert by the artist James Senese & Napoli Centrale (jazz, blues)

 
Wednesday 30th September

09:15 Morning fireworks show

09:30 Marching band “Aurora- città di Panza” playing along the streets of Sant’Angelo

11:00 Procession through Sant’Angelo to reach the main square where the statue of the saint is revealed

12:00 Boat parade to Punta Chiarito and Maronti beach with the marching band playing live on board.

18:15 Start of the evocative procession on small boats following the statue of the patron saint to Punta Chiarito and Maronti beach, starting from Sant’Angelo pier.

20:00 Torchlight procession and mass in Sant’Angelo square. Holy chants performed by the “Schola Cantorum Cav. Vito Matarese - Forio”

22:00 Marching band concert

00:15 Pyromusical fireworks show
