Hotel Continental Mare is a 4 star hotel located on the edge of a cliff, facing the Bay of Naples and the island of Procida. The building was originally a private villa and it still keeps the atmosphere of a quiet and private residence, with a surrounding garden and terraces gradually descending towards the sea which guests can access through a private cobblestone staircase.

The Hotel Continental Mare (not to be confused with its sister hotel the Hotel Continental Terme) is located along the main SS270 road between Ischia Porto and Casamicciola. If arriving by car off the ferry, follow the signs towards the main road and turn right, climbing the hill with the port area down to your right. The road then bends left, right and left again before you arrive at the hotel entrance on the right hand side of the road. Be sure to slow down as soon as you reach the tree-lined avenue in order not to miss the turning which also needs to be negotiated with care as the driveway sharply descends to the left.
