August is almost upon us but with so many hotels and apartments booked up way in advance it can be a good idea to look for value in September when the weather will still be great but prices for everything that bit lower. Looking at the first full week of the month, from Saturday 3rd September to Saturday 10th September 2016 I've found a good deal at a very well respected hotel in Casamicciola, the Grifo Hotel Charme & Spa. It has a beautiful outdoor pool as well as a rooftop solarium while indoors you'll find an excellent spa with a number of treatments available.  Albergo Il Monastero, Ischia Ponte Buona sera everyone. Well anybody who's read today's Ischia Daily Weather Blog will know that we're in for a fantastic week of weather with nothing but sunshine and temperatures above 30° Celsius forecast for every day. That being the case I decided that today I'd look for a good deal on a long weekend starting this Friday 22nd July 2016. Using the Booking.com search box which you can see above, I searched for a 3 night stay, checking out on Monday 25th July. When the results came up I sorted them in order of their user review scores so that the very best options came up first. Scrolling just a little way down the most eye-catching result was the Albergo Il Monastero in Ischia Ponte. This is a 3 star hotel located in the historic Castello Aragonese, the medieval castle. At the moment you can get a double room for 2 people & breakfast included for a total price of €510 for 3 nights. See for yourself now!
 Hotel Casa Celestino, Sant'Angelo Good evening everyone. We're having a glorious month of weather in Ischia and there doesn't seem to be any sign of things changing for the rest of July. That being the case I thought I'd have a look to see what I could find for the rest of this month for people that might want to take advantage of the conditions before the prices go up in August. Based on two people sharing a room for 7 nights from July 16th and with breakfast included I found the Hotel Casa Celestino in Sant'Angelo offering a non-refundable price of €1,566 which works out at just over €110 per person per night. The hotel scores a superb 9.2 after 99 reviews and sits in a fantastic position overlooking the sea and the village, with the centre just a 2 minute walk away.
