The 5 star Excelsior Belvedere Hotel & Spa is one of Ischia's most established hotels, offering elegance and luxury throughout. Situated in the heart of Ischia Porto it is set within its own walls and is just a few steps away from a private and exclusive beach area. From what is one of the convenient locations on the island it's possible to walk to the main shopping street Corso Vittoria Colonna in less than 5 minutes in one direction or the neighbouring town of Ischia Ponte in 15 minutes in the other along a scenic esplanade.
The hotel's beautiful on-site wellness centre is equipped with a Turkish bath, a hot-tub and a massage area as well as an indoor thermal water pool while outside is another thermal water swimming pool with a terrace where guests can relax on sun-loungers with parasols providing shade.
The excellent "Belvedere" restaurant serves a mixture of Ischian as well as Italian cuisine which can be enjoyed in the charming dining area or out on the terrace depending on the weather.
The spacious rooms are all air-conditioned and come with either private balconies or terraces overlooking the sea or the garden while inside they are equipped with satellite televisions and free WiFi internet access.

Directions:
Excelsior Belvedere Hotel & Spa is located in a central position in Ischia Porto. From the ferry & hydrofoil port, with the sea behind you walk to your left, past the Aragona Palace Hotel on the corner and then take the first left to enter Via Roma. Walk all the way up the hill of Via Roma and the road changes name to Corso Vittoria Colonna. Continue to walk in the same direction until you see Via Emanuele Gianturco on your left. Enter this road and the hotel entrance is about half way down.
