Hotel Gemma is situated on the main road that circles the island with a bus stop right next to the hotel. Ischia Porto and Casamicciola port are reachable by bus in 5 minutes while O’Vagnitiello thermal park is also located very close to the hotel, just off the main road.
On site, guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, a jacuzzi and an open terrace-solarium on the top floor with a view to the sea and across to the islands of Procida and Vivara and the Italian mainland in the distance.
Every room at the hotel comes with a television, a writing desk, and a private bathroom with a hair dryer and complimentary toiletries. In some of the rooms there are sea views and balconies in others.
Meals, including a daily continental breakfast can be taken in the hotel's restaurant.

Hotel Gemma lies conveniently just off the main road between the towns of Ischia Porto and Casamicciola with both sea ports more or less the same distance away. If driving by car from Ischia Porto, join the main road and head west following the signs to Forio. The road climbs a hill where you can soon see the port below and to your right. It then twists and continues to climb inland. After a short distance you will pass various hotels on your right including Le Querce, Continental Mare and Myage before reaching the Castiglione Thermal Park on your right. The road then descends a hill, turns right and then left again at which point you will see Hotel Gemma's car park on your left.
