Located in one of the best areas to base oneself for a holiday on the island of Ischia, this solid, well-built property is more than just an apartment, it's a spacious home from home that allows its guests to enjoy the very best things that Ischia can offer. From the front door of the house you need only to cross the road to be on the delightful Fisherman's Beach (Spiaggia dei Pescatori) with its dreamlike views of the imperious Castello Aragonese, the medieval sixteenth century castle that has historically stood guard to the island. A five minute walk to the left of the house will take you to the busy centre of Ischia Porto with its elegant shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants, as well as another one of the town's beaches, San Pietro. A five minute walk in the other direction takes you into the heart of the historic old town of Ischia Ponte, full of charm, character and unique beauty.
Inside the house the feeling of space is accentuated by the high ceilings and the whole building is kept cool during the summer months by the elegant ceramic tiles throughout. The kitchen-diner is the perfect place for a family or a group of friends to enjoy each other's company while being inspired to try some of the local recipes with plenty of space to enjoy the meals in the dining room. A separate lounge area comes with two large sofas as well as an outside terrace which backs out on to the shared garden at the rear of the house. In fact the garden is more like a small volcanic woods with various pathways to explore as it gradually rises above the house towards the town centre. Another large hallway leads to the three bedrooms, two of which come with double beds and the third with two single beds.
