The Miramare e Castello is a fabulous five star hotel situated between Ischia Porto and Ischia Ponte, full of beautiful panoramic views of Castello Aragonese, the Gulf of Naples and Sorrento in the distance.
The hotel's location is one of the most convenient on the island, a 10 minute walk in one direction takes you to Castello Aragonese and in the other direction to the busy shopping street of Corso Vittoria Colonna which also has a surfeit of bars and restaurants. The hotel building itself is right next to La Mandra and Pescatore beaches.
One of the favourite features of the hotel is its roof garden which has two hot-tubs while there is also an on-site beauty farm with Turkish bath and massage facilities. The roof terrace is also the location for the hotel's restaurant, Ristorante La Lampara which is one of the best on the island and offers an enticing mixture of Italian and Ischian cuisine using fresh local ingredients and modern presentation.
The main outdoor pool is located at ground level and surrounded by an attractive sun terrace with parasols and sun-loungers while guests also have use of the private beach with plenty of areas set aside for shade if required.

Directions:
The Miramare e Castello is located between Ischia Porto and Ischia Ponte. If arriving in Ischia by ferry or hydrofoil, walk towards the main town area with the sea to your left. At the corner of the port is the Aragona Palace Hotel and when you pass it you need to take the next turn on your left which is Via Roma. From this point, the Miramare e Castello is around 20-30 minutes walk away but you don't have to change street. The hotel is located right next to the beach and can be reached easily if you simply follow the esplanade path from Ischia Porto in the direction of Castello Aragonese.
