Afternoon folks. The Easter weekend is upon us and Ischia is about to wake up after its rather long hibernation. Most hotels, thermal parks and restaurants are either now open or about to open over the next few days and the busy weekend kicks off with tonight's Passion of Christ parades in Forio and Lacco Ameno. The one in Forio for example starts at 8 tonight and crowds will line the streets of the town centre to watch the open-air show unfold, culminating in its moving climax next to Chiesa del Soccorso which becomes Golgotha for one night only. Aside from that, it won't be long until the first rental boats are on the water while the day trip excursions to Capri, Positano & Amalfi are already up and running. The weather is looking good to so Buona Pasqua a tutti! Ciao :-)
