Morning folks! People around the world will no doubt be enjoying an extended lie-in this morning as it's Labour Day, May Day or La Festa del Lavoro in Italy. This means another busy period in Ischia, the third "Ponte" Bridge weekend in succession where visitors come to the island for an extended break. This is a great time to visit, the spring flowers are in bloom and the sun is starting to feel warmer each day. Looking at the weather forecasts, we're in for yet another sunny week, in fact it's rained so little in the past two months that we must be due a huge downpour at some point but no rain is expected now until Sunday. Today's photo comes from Maronti Beach, the largest on the island and almost a town in itself with dozens of bars, restaurants and hotels. Back soon. Ciao :-)
