Seasons greetings everyone! It's that time of year when we're all making those last-minute preparations for the big day, fighting the crowds in the shops and travelling to meet loved-ones. Most of the Christmas traditions in Ischia are similar to those in the rest of Europe although there are some subtle differences. Christmas Eve for example is a slightly bigger deal in Ischia than it is in the UK say and usually consists of a big family get-together with fish being the main food centre-piece. That's all to come tomorrow night with Christmas Day to follow so let the festivities commence! I'd like to thank you all for reading the blog and using the website and to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and safe journeys wherever you're heading over the festive period. Buon Natale from sunny Ischia! :-)
