Good morning from Ischia and a beautiful morning it is too! We're still a few weeks away from the official start of winter and we're enjoying a period of plenty of sunshine with very mild temperatures at the moment. Right now at 10:30am it's 12° Celsius (54° Fahrenheit) and set to rise by a few degrees over the course of the day. The island is now very much gearing towards the Christmas period with many hotels and restaurants about to re-open for the festive period before going back to sleep again once it's all over. It's worth remembering that in Italy the festivities last a little longer than in many countries as there's La Befana which takes place on 6th January. Today's photo is of the lovely Chiesa del Soccorso in Forio, bathed in autumn sunshine. Back soon, ciao :-)
