Morning everyone! So into October we go and in terms of the weather it's a fine start to the month. Out at sea a few sailboats are bobbing up and down gently while up above it's hazy but sunny with a temperature of 20°C (68°F) right now at 11am and expected to go up a notch or two this afternoon. The forecast for the next 7 days is very positive with similar conditions to today and plenty of sunshine expected. The average minimum temperature this week is around 18°C (64°F) which all means summer clothes during the day time and a light layer on top when you venture out in the evenings. Apart from that, all is calm and well on the island and as we leave September behind there's a bit more space around making this a particularly nice time to visit. Back with more soon. Ciao :-)

Thank you for this! I just noticed it and I loved the quick read. I came to Ischia on October 12th and am leaving either tomorrow or Wednesday depending on the Ferry schedules. I have loved my time here and look forward to returning sometime next year. I am from New Hampshire, USA one hour north of Boston and two hours north of Providence, RI. New England has a lot of residents that have an Italian heritage.
