Evening all! It's a windy Sunday evening in Ischia as the weekend starts to draw to a close. The round the island bike race took centre stage this morning and since then things have gradually got back to normal. Sundays are generally the days when you see more people around compared to the rest of the week but it was still very peaceful this lunch time and in many ways this is the nicest time of the year to be here. Looking ahead at the rest of the week, today's heavy winds will gradually diminish as we get into tomorrow but the sea will remain a little bit rough until Tuesday. At the moment the weather forecast for the next 7 days is looking very healthy indeed with no rain predicted while Friday should see the 25°C (77°F) barrier broken for the first time this year. Back soon. Ciao :-)
