Good afternoon! After a lengthy absence it's great to be back in Ischia and it's only right that I mark the occasion with a long-overdue update. The last time I wrote was at the end of August and things were slightly chaotic but upon returning today I can feel a much more settled atmosphere. It's still fairly busy around the island but there's a lot more space on the beaches, you can get a seat in a restaurant and the buses aren't quite so crowded. In terms of the weather well I think I've timed things very well as we seem to be heading for a period of sunshine which wasn't the case over the last few days and temperatures are also a lot more comfortable now, hovering between 17°C (63°F) and 23°C (73°F) for the next week or so. Back with another update soon(er!) Ciao :-)
