Afternoon everyone. So we're now in the middle of October and things are slowing down in Ischia with many hotels and restaurants soon to close for their winter hibernation. That's not to say you can't visit Ischia during this time, there are still dozens of places to stay and places to eat that stay open all year round and no shortage of crossings to and from Naples. The subject of this week's photo is Lacco Ameno, the smallest of the six towns on the island. Despite its size, Lacco Ameno offers a bit of everything in a compact area which makes it a great option for a holiday. Staying in the town centre you have the beach, plenty of shops and restaurants as well as Negombo Thermal Gardens all within a short walk. I'll be back with another update next week so until then, ciao :-).
