Forio d'Ischia in Spring

My word I've just realised it's Friday the 13th! And there's me leaving the house, crossing roads and doing all sorts of other daring activities! Well despite my courageous output this morning I've managed to survive at least until 4:15pm and I can tell you we've had a glorious day of sunshine so far and there's plenty more in store over the weekend. The temperature right now is 14° Celcius (57° Fahrenheit) but it was a good few degrees warmer than that at lunch time. The minimum temperature this evening will be 8°C (46°F) so still feeling cold but heading in the right direction. It's difficult to describe the mass of yellow flowers that are everywhere you look on the island this morning so I'll let today's photo of Forio tell its own story...Back with more tomorrow, ciao :-)
