 Il Fungo, The Mushroom Rock in Lacco Ameno Buona sera everyone. Wow what a scorcher it is today! There's really not a cloud to be seen and the whole island is starting to explode with colour as the spring flowers bloom. Little flashes of purple and bright red bougainvillea on one side offset against bright yellow roses and lemon trees bristling with ripe fruit on the other. You could argue that today is the real start of the summer season with Poseidon Thermal Gardens opening their doors for the first time and they've chosen a great day to do so. Right now at 5pm it's 22° Celsius (72° Fahrenheit) with a nice gentle breeze and we're in for a really pleasant evening as well. Things are shaping up nicely for the weekend and by Tuesday we should see a big jump in temperatures, as high as 27°C (81°F)! Back tomorrow. Ciao :-)
