 Lacco Ameno Harbour Afternoon folks! It's a sunny, windy and very busy 1st of May in Ischia. As in many parts of the world today is a national holiday in Italy, known as "Le Festa del Lavoro" (Labor Day) and as such the island is filling up quickly as people look to get away for the weekend. As mentioned, there is a bit of wind around and it's quite choppy out at sea but things are quite pleasant on dry land with the temperature right now at 2:15pm 20° Celcius (68° Fahrenheit). The minimum temperature for tonight will be 12°C (54°F) and the same pattern should remain in place tomorrow. From Sunday we start to see a nice jump in temperatures, reaching as high as 28°C (82°F) on Tuesday. I'll leave you with today's photo, a shot of Lacco Ameno harbour and the promise of more tomorrow.
