 Naples Afternoon folks. It's almost sunset in Ischia at the beginning of the new week. Since my previous update on Friday it seems the forecasters got it mostly wrong with their warnings of heavy storms. In fact Saturday was a beautiful, sunny day with a few spots of rain while yesterday's showers and winds weren't quite on the level expected. Today things have been very calm although the sea is still a bit choppy from yesterday. Right now at 5:30pm it's actually quite warm at 15° Celsius (59° Fahrenheit) and we look set for a mild evening. For the week ahead we should see a much more settled picture with mostly sunshine and the occasional shower while tomorrow could bring a mini heatwave.
