 Fishing Boat by Castello Aragonese in Ischia Ponte Afternoon folks. The new week has started with a greyish day in Ischia. Yesterday's clouds have extended in to today which has occasionally been punctuated by some sunny spells but also a couple of brief showers. There was some wind expected to move in but that hasn't materialised with the sea currently a picture of calm and flat as a billiard table (when not quite but you know what I mean). Temperature-wise right now at 4pm it's 13° Celsius (55° Fahrenheit) and for the rest of today we should see a continuation of the current conditions although perhaps slightly brighter on the whole. Tomorrow is a big day in Italy and in Ischia, Carnevale or Mardi Gras is celebrated with gusto here with people dressing up on the streets so that should be fun! Back again tomorrow. Ciao :-)
