 Punta San Pancrazio, Barano Evening all, it's the 15th of August which in Italy means only one thing, the "Ferragosto" (comes from "Ferie" (holiday) and "Agosto" (August) national holiday which among other things makes Ischia very busy with anybody who can making their way over here at least for the weekend but in many cases for the whole month. There were fears that the weather would ruin the weekend but as yet it's been largely nice, yes there were a few clouds around this morning but right now at 6:15pm it's sunny and 28° Celcius (82° Fahrenheit). There are lots of sagras (fairs/fetes) coming up including the "Sagra del Vino" in Panza tomorrow night and we'll keep you up to date with all of those as they happen. Today's photo shows Punta San Pancrazio and I'll be back tomorrow. Ciao :-)
