 Easter Eggs and La Colomba Cake Afternoon folks, the Easter weekend continues although we didn't get off to the best start weather-wise this morning. Until around 10am it was cloudy and damp with some showers around but since then it's steadily brightened up and we now have a gorgeous spring afternoon. The temperature right now at 2:30pm is 17° Celsius (63° Fahrenheit) and tomorrow should be a very similar story. Today's photo shows some of the traditional Easter food in Ischia, there are of course Easter eggs but something else called La Colomba which is very similar to the Panettone cake that's eaten at Christmas, but in the shape of a dove ("colomba" means dove in Italian). Don't forget, the clocks go forward tonight/early hours of tomorrow and I'll be back with another update tomorrow. Ciao :-)
