 Presepe Vivente (Live Nativity) in Campagnano Good afternoon everybody. It's a beautiful, crisp sunny day in Ischia with the temperature right now at 13° Celcius (55° Fahrenheit). Yesterday morning's grey skies gave way to a sunny afternoon but was then followed by some quite stiff winds. There's a chance of a couple of drops of rain this evening but we hope they'll stay away as tonight sees one of the most important traditions in the Ischia calendar. Over in the village of Campagnano this evening will be the Presepe Vivente (Live Nativity), where the village centre is transformed into a kind of living museum with people dressed up in period clothing and at the heart of it, the live nativity scene such as in today's photo. You can get a bus from the stadium in Ischia Porto so let's hope that rain stays away! Ciao.
