La Festa della Ginestra, Buonopane

​Buon pomeriggio a tutti. It's a beautiful afternoon in Ischia, the sea is sparkling under the sunshine, the air is warm and it's the weekend, what more could you want? Right now at 3:30pm it's 22° Celsius (72° Fahrenheit) and there's little more to add in terms of the weather as we look set fair for much more of the same for the week to come. As summer time arrives we start to see more and more events taking place on the island and tomorrow is one such occasion, La Festa della Ginestra which takes place in Barano, Starting in the village of Buonopane at 10:45am, a crowd gathers and then walks together across some beautiful scenery, finally ending up at a barbecue with music and drinks.
