La Festa della Ginestra, Barano

Afternoon folks, it's another gorgeous day in Ischia as the hot spell continues. There's not a cloud to be seen and there's hardly a breath of wind to accompany the bright blue skies. Right now at 3:15 it's 30° Celcius (86° Fahrenheit) and we're in for another warm evening with a minimum of 21°C (70°F), getting more towards August temperatures than June temperatures at the moment. More of the same is expected tomorrow but as we get into early next week there should be a slight drop in heat, down by a couple of degrees Celcius. Tomorrow sees one of the nicest events of the year, La Festa della Ginestra takes place in Barano and includes a scenic walk followed by a barbecue, what more could you want?
