Bay of Citara, Forio

Hi everyone. The weekend has arrived with a spectacular day here in Ischia. Having ventured out this morning in full thermal regalia, woollen hat and gloves, I soon realised that I'd made not only several fashion faux pas but that I was incredibly overdressed! Right now at 3:45pm it's 18° Celsius (64° Fahrenheit), sunny and with a light breeze. Most unexpected temperatures for January it has to be said and much more like the weather you'd expect in Spring. Anyway, who's moaning? We look set fair for an extended spell of clement weather for at least the next week or so and perhaps I need to have a re-think about my wardrobe. Today's photo comes from the beautiful bay of Citara in Forio which has one of the largest beaches on the island. Back tomorrow. Ciao :-)
