 Looking across to Sant'Angelo from Barano Evening everyone. It's been a sumptuous day in Ischia. It hasn't been particularly warm and there have been some really strong winds but even after three years of making my way around the island I don't think I've ever seen it looking prettier. Having decided to take in a new hiking route we came across the stunning scene that you can see in today's photo, looking across from Monte Cotto in Barano down to Sant'Angelo. We also managed to find a restaurant which can only be accessed by mono-rail and comes with an even more spectacular view with Castello Aragonese, Ischia Porto, Procida, Capri and Sorrento all visible together. Right now at 7:30pm it's 19° Celcius (66° Fahrenheit) and tomorrow is looking good, sunny and warmer too. A domani. Ciao :-)
