The Beach at Poseidon Thermal Gardens, Forio

​Buona sera ragazzi. It's a cloud-bound Sunday evening in Ischia as we approach the end of a mixed day of weather. The sun has threatened and occasionally managed to pop its head above the parapet but without ever feeling cold, it's been cloudy for the most part of the day. Right now at 6:30pm it's 24° Celsius (75° Fahrenheit) and as I watch a vintage schooner enter and exit stage left in front of me, the most noticeable thing is the lack of wind, creating an almost surreal atmosphere when coupled with the thick grey backdrop. Looking into the crystal ball tomorrow's skies promise to be more Mediterranean than Nordic with normal service expected to resume. The week that follows is also shaping up nicely with a sharp rise in temperatures from Thursday. Ciao :-)
