 Deck-chairs on San Pietro Beach, Ischia Porto Afternoon folks and into May we go. It's a bank holiday weekend in Italy for and in many other countries across Europe although for many people here it doesn't mean an extra day off as Labour Day has this year fallen on a Sunday. Yesterday the forecast for today looked really bad and it all seemed to be going that way with a fairly gloomy morning with heavy rain and some heavier winds making conditions out at sea rather unpleasant. However, unexpectedly things brightened up this afternoon and right now at 5:15pm it's 18° Celsius (64 Fahrenheit) with sunshine all round and only the wind staying on for an extra shift. Tomorrow is now expected to be the day with more rain and winds in the evening but let's see how it pans out. Back again with more tomorrow. Ciao :-)
