Sunset over Forio

Evening everyone. It's been another energy-sapping, sticky, balmy and frankly, hot day in Ischia on the last day of the month. The general vibe around the island goes through an etch-a-sketch like reset with the buzzing, bustling, noisy August replaced by a much more sedate September. The sun's just gone down and right now at 7:45pm it's 28° Celcius (82° Fahrenheit) with conditions set to stay exactly this way for the next 48 hours or so. Things will cool down a touch by Thursday but then get hotter again in time for the weekend but this is all relatively speaking of course, a couple of degrees here and there. Keep an eye out later as we reveal September's events but for now I'll leave you with the sunset over Forio and the promise to return with an update tomorrow. Ciao :-)
