 Sunflowers in Ischia Buona domenica folks! The busy holiday weekend continues apace and we've got another sizzling afternoon with which to enjoy it all. Right now at 12:45pm it's 23° Celcius (73° Fahrenheit) but that will rise by a few notches over the next couple of hours before settling down to a minimum of 15°C (59°F) tonight. The forecasts for the next seven days are fantastic with a steady increase in temperature every day, climaxing in a boiling hot Friday and the weekend that follows. One of the best signs that spring is about to turn into summer (apart from it being much hotter of course!) is the blooming of the first sunflowers of the year and our very own garden produced a lovely gift this morning which forms today's photo.
