Afternoon everyone. The seemingly never-ending new year weekend continues on what has turned out to be a much brighter Sunday than was expected. Right now at 3pm it's 15° Celsius (59° Fahrenheit) and the sun is out but the dominant meteorological factor is the wind which is up around the 30kph mark. As a consequence, the sea is looking much rougher than we've seen for a while. However, yesterday's forecasts for storms tomorrow now seem to have altered to something slightly more moderate, perhaps some heavy winds and showers but no thunder and lightning.
