 La Mortella Gardens, Forio Morning folks. The summer season is almost upon us with the Easter weekend the typical starting point each year. Good Friday sees one of the most important events on the calendar in Forio with the Actus Tragicus, a recreation of the Passion of Christ which gets played out on the town's streets and is a must-see if you're on the island at this time. Another sign of the island coming back to life is the opening of La Mortella Gardens, also in Forio, this Saturday after their winter hibernation. Weather-wise we're in for a bit of cloud today and the temperature right now at 8:30am is 11° Celsius (52° Fahrenheit), rising to a maximum of 14°C (57°F) this afternoon. Things are looking brighter for the weekend though, particularly tomorrow which should be sunny all day. Ciao :-)
