 La Scarrupata, Barano Afternoon folks. We've got another scorcher in Ischia today. It's that middle period of the day when the island goes very quiet with people taking a break from work generally speaking between 1:30pm and 4pm leaving the road mostly deserted before springing back to life as the hum of scooter and car combine to herald the beginning of the evening session. Right now at 4:15pm it's 31° Celcius (88° Fahrenheit) and this evening's minimum will be around 21°C (70°F). Looking ahead at the rest of the week it's still great news for anyone visiting with conditions nice and settled and no sign of anything untoward on the horizon. Today's photo comes from the beautiful La Scarrupata in Barano, a great place to stop with a boat for a swim and a bite to eat. Back tomorrow. Ciao :-)
