 Ischia Porto Evening all! I think I've chosen the perfect moment to write today's update as the sun has finally come out after a thick blanket of cloud held an iron-like grip over proceedings for the whole day. I don't think we're totally out of the woods yet but could this be the beginning of the beginning of the end of this unwelcome spell of unsettled weather? Let's hope so anyway. Right now at 5:15pm it's 20° Celsius (68° Fahrenheit) while the forecast for the rest of the evening is a mixture of sun, cloud and light showers. For anybody who's in Ischia at the moment, there's the Santa Restituta Festival taking place in Lacco Ameno with plenty of people around to enjoy the market stalls, fancy lighting, music and of course, food.
