 La Scarrupata, Barano Afternoon folks. Summer is well and truly upon us and we have a typically idyllic day today. The biggest sign of summer is of course the weather but there are all the little telltale signs that go with it such as the increased amount of boats out on the water, the distant noise of children playing in the sea and the augmented flow of people making their way to and from the beaches. Right now at 5pm it's a very pleasant 25° Celsius (77° Fahrenheit), with a deliciously gentle breeze and much calmer yet still rippling sea. Looking ahead to tomorrow we should see very similar conditions but with an increase in temperature. At the moment, Thursday is the only day that carries the suggestion of any unsettled weather but I'll be back tomorrow to give you an update on that. Ciao :-)
