 Ristorante Pallone, Maronti Beach Evening all! Welcome back to a surprisingly quiet Ischia where the usual August hordes are yet to materialise. Could it be that people are leaving it a week later this year? Who knows but the result is a very tranquil island and it gives us all a bit of a breather before it gets really busy again. You won't be surprised to hear that it's been another sizzling afternoon and right now at 6:45pm it's still 33° Celcius (91° Fahrenheit). The rest of the week should go a similar way but there is mention of a storm on Sunday and a couple of drops of rain the following day which would be most welcome after such a long dry spell. For today's photo I've chosen Ristorante Pallone on Maronti Beach, one of many that share the fantastic views across to Sant'Angelo. Back with more tomorrow, ciao :-)
