 Ischia Ponte Evening folks. A sweltering, humid afternoon is gradually drawing to a close. Outside a little bird lands on top of a telegraph pole, has a little scan around before flapping its wings to find a new vantage point, perhaps admiring the colourful array of hibiscus just below it or more likely, looking for a quick snack of the worm variety. Right now at 7pm it's still really hot, 28° Celsius (83° Fahrenheit) which is significantly hotter than what we've had recently. This morning started with some wind and rough seas but as the day wore on everything has calmed down significantly. The picture for tomorrow is a bit hard to fathom at the moment, there may well be some strong winds around but nothing is certain with the weather at the moment. Back with another update tomorrow.
