 Lacco Ameno Afternoon folks. Daring to speak to soon, it looks like we may have seen the worst of the unsettled spell of weather that's held us in its grip for the last couple of weeks. This morning was beautiful right from the word go and since then there's been no change. Right now at 5pm it's a very pleasant 22° Celsius (72° Fahrenheit) and all very peaceful as I look down from my hillside perch. Ahead of me is the sea where a sail boat looks to be struggling with the lack of wind and apart from the occasional beep of a distant car horn, the most dominant noise is a subtle, tuneful birdsong. Today's photo of Lacco Ameno was taken this morning, it's a great time to visit the town if you're here as they are currently celebrating the Festa di Santa Restituta, their patron saint.
