 Maronti Beach, Barano Afternoon chaps and chapesses! So into June we go and things are noticeably busier on the island already. Tomorrow is an important day on the calendar, "La Festa della Repubblica" which apart from anything else is a day off for most Italians and a good chunk of those decide to spend an extended weekend in Ischia (and who can blame them!). In terms of the weather we had a bit of a slow start to the day with lots of cloud around this morning and a couple of drops of light rain as well. Then as we moved into the afternoon it's become progressively sunnier with just the occasional spell of cloud cover. Right now at 5pm it's 22° Celsius (72° Fahrenheit) and very pleasant with a bit of breeze around as well. Tomorrow is expected to be a very similar day to today. Back tomorrow. Ciao :-)
