Sunbeams over Ischia

​Evening folks. Looking out of the window at the moment allows me to witness one of those spectacles that I sometimes take for granted but shouldn't, a beautiful corona of light seeping through the various gaps in the cloud as can be seen in today's photo. We were expecting a real wash-out of a day but so far that hasn't been the case. It's been mostly sunny with some cloud cover now and then and some wind making things a little choppy out at sea. Right now at 6:45pm it's 23° Celsius (73° Fahrenheit) and it looks as though we may get some showers later on. There were predictions for storms tomorrow morning but they seem to have modified a little. It's always a bit tricky getting the forecasts exactly right at this time of year so it's a case of let's wait and see for now. Ciao :-)
