Ventotene Island

​Afternoon all and welcome back to Ischia where we've got another gorgeous day to enjoy. The skies are cloudless, the sea is calm and in terms of heat it's somewhere between a Jalfrezi and a Madras but over the next few days we should be in Vindaloo country. Right now at 4:30pm it's 28° Celsius (82° Fahrenheit) with the customary light breeze helping to cool the palate. Today's photo comes from the island of Ventotene which is situated to the west of Ischia and takes an hour to reach by hydrofoil. The direct connection between the two islands is only available during peak season but it's a lovely place to visit if you're looking to try somewhere new. It's much smaller than Ischia but does have a couple of beaches, a quaint old town and some charming places to eat and drink. A domani, ciao :-)
