 Christmas Tree in Forio Afternoon folks. It's lunch time in Ischia on a grey, cloudy afternoon. As we move into the festive season there are quite a few events taking places all across the island. In various towns and villages you'll find nativity scenes ("presepe" in Italian) while things will be quite busy over in Ischia Porto with a selection of street artists along Corso Vittoria Colonna and the Enchanted Forest (Il Bosco Incantato), a funky light installation just a short walk from there. Right now at 1:30pm it's 14° Celcius (57° Fahrenheit) and this heavy cloud cover should stick around for most of tomorrow as well but there's no rain predicted for the foreseeable future.
